Blue sage is used similarly to the white variant, to cleanse and protect but with a less intense and more soothing aroma. Known also as 'Grandmother Sage', it is an ideal choice in healing rituals. As it tends to be relaxing and less overpowering than white sage, especially in small spaces, it is also a good choice for the cleansing and preparation of meditation spaces - and more agreeable to those who find the strong scent of White Sage overpowering.
